“ We had out wedding reception here about 2 years ago, late review I know, but everything was class. Food was amazing, service was class and was a lovely place as well. Couldn’t fault it and made our day even better. ”
“ Nice beer garden. Food was very good. Thenfishbfinger sandwich is actually a real filet not fish fingers. Roast beef sandwich was a couple of slices of proper roast not prepackaged. Don't pay the 1.50 extra for chunky chips. The regular ones are better anyhow. ”

When we came in we weren't sure if dogs were allowed but were told that that we could sit in the bar area which was perfect. With an actual fire and some lovely decor it was really cosy. We decided to just have some drinks and sandwiches. To our pleasant surprise the sandwich and chips were full plates and really tasty. All the staff were very friendly and saw to our orders quickly. Overall we would be very happy to come back and would like to try the evening meals at some point. ”

“ Second time at the Peacock Inn for Sunday dinner since lockdown restrictions were eased and a really excellent experience on both occasions. The food is excellent and the staff were brilliant from the management down to the waiting staff (a big shout out to Mason who did most of our table service and was very courteous and extremely good at the job). There are excellent Covid secure arrangements around the whole place and you are made to feel very at ease. There is a great outdoor covered area with high level mounted heaters which you can put on and off at your leisure if you prefer to eat outside, but indoors also seems to be just as good an option (although we ate outside). All highly recommended !!! ”
